Schull, west Cork. Image Seamus Henderson
My family comes from Schull and I’ve still not managed to visit despite my four trips to Ireland. I think my next trip will be focused exclusively on the Cork, Kerry and Dingle.

Thatch Cottage, Adare (by Paul Redmond04)
This small block in Adare was my first experience of Ireland in 1999. I remember this spot exactly. Heading back to Ireland in 14 days!

I plan to visit here soon
6th century Skellig Michael monastery, off the coast of County Kerry, Ireland
I’m tentatively scheduled to visit this little rocky outcrop in May.
St.Patrick’s Bridge, Cork, Ireland (by federico-69)
I’m probably going to cut off the Donegal leg of my trip to spend more time in Co. Cork looking for family history this May. In my previous three trips, I never spent much time there so I’m really looking forward to getting a feel for Ireland’s largest county.

An Irish piece of perfection.
Somewhere in Connemara, Ireland - August 2010
I’ve been seeing more pictures of Connemara lately and now I’m definitely going to take a day to drive around the county.

Maam valley, Connemara, Galway
I intend to drive the coast in Connemara and see some of the wilds this May. Never spent any time in Connemara but hear it’s really beautiful, just like every other part of Ireland.
Slieve League, Ireland
Can’t wait to get back to those cliffs. The picture doesn’t do these 2,000-foot sea cliffs justice. See you in late May.

For 31 years, my dad has been marching down the longest Main Street in America on St. Patrick’s Day. Each year we pick up a few new faces and sometimes some old faces join us again, old bars close and new ones open, but there are a few things that always stay the same - crappy bars, lots of A&B…
