I can't stay away

I parlayed the Colts money line and under 57.5 (+200) for the Super Bowl. I can’t stay away from this game.

  • OVERs are way over bet by the public
  • The public perception is that this will be the highest scoring SB of all time
  • More public money is bet on the SB than any other game by a LOT
  • Huge public money has been pouring onto the OVER
  • Peyton Manning is the greatest QB of all time and nothing is stopping him

That’s my thought process for this bet. Contrarian betting in the SB yields the highest probability of success.

Go Colts. Go defenses.

Just got this awesome journal from Behance. It’s an action journal. 3/4 of a spread is a dot grid (similar to graph paper but with dots instead of rules) and 1/4 is boxes for lists of action items. It has a hard cover and a folder in the back cover. Great for sketches or ideas.

Yet while creative director Tibor Kalman publicly promotes non-design as an instrument of salvation from the moral sins of our profession, he has built his career on the mystique of the designer-as-witch-doctor, the impresario of taste capable of turning lead into gold, and low into high.

The best of these designers could probably write insightful essays analyzing their antecedents and influences and how they build on them. But other designers probably don’t have a clue where their forms are coming from. Many simply apply a catalog of derivative visual moves that they absorb from the media that surrounds us all.

patrickmcginnis asked: Why do you sometimes post the same comment on both twitter and facebook?

Because most people who follow me on Twitter are not my Facebook friends. The two spheres are not the same. If I want to solicit answers from both, I post to both.
