I am thinking of doing these triathlons: February 24, 2008 — YMCA Mini Indoor (500-yard swim, 10-mile bike, 3-mile run) May 04, 2008 — Race for Site (400-yard swim, 14-mile bike, 3-mile runI’ll be pretty pathetic for the February 24 event but it will definitely teach me a lot about how to handle these competitions.
My New Year's Resolution
I’ve sworn off drinking alcohol of any kind until my triathlon is over. I don’t drink much as it is but I’ve lost many days in the gym or on the street by having a few beers the night before. Not only did I lose for 5 and a half hours straight but some old man nervously said that he “did a number 2 in his depends” after winning a somewhat large pot. Great fucking day.
